- The story so far
Hi, I'm the parent who got tired of
Leeds, UK
For years, dinner with three small humans went one of two ways. Either I’d spend an hour on something Pinterest-worthy that nobody touched, or we’d default to fish fingers and frozen peas — again. Neither felt right.
So I started keeping a notebook. Not recipes I wished we ate, but the ones the kids actually finished. The ones I could throw together while half-listening to a tantrum about the wrong colour spoon. The ones that didn’t need a deli run.
That notebook turned into Kids Meal Plan. Every recipe here is cooked, tweaked, and re-cooked in our kitchen — usually three or four times — before it goes live. If the children push it around the plate, it gets binned. Properly tested means tested by the toughest critics in the room.
I write everything you read here. The site is supported by a small handful of affiliate partnerships — Amazon Associates UK, HelloFresh, Gousto — but I only ever recommend things I’d put in my own kitchen. You can read the full affiliate disclosure if you’d like the detail.
